Hi, I have been abducted by the Avengers fandom but will probably be back soon--monogamy not promised. I have hs_merlin and reel_merlin to get all jiggy with, as long as long-overdue fills for previous requests as usual (I know you guys are getting tired of my lameness already ;;), and--well. Merlin and Arthur, Bradley and Colin. ALL MY FUCKING FEELINGS THAT NO SUPERHERO TEAM CAN SIMPLY BLOW AWAY, PERFECT BOTTOMS AND CHRIS EVANS' FACE (AND HIS EVERYTHING--seriously. I had never liked a blond and blue-eyed boy-next-door type until Bradley Fucking James, and now there's two of them what the fuck) BE DAMNED.

I'm on vacation for Easter hols and online only on mobile right now, which is actually a lot more than I'd been while at home for the past two days where I pretty much spend the day just eating and helping Mum take care of the kids and do the chores and making sure she and my sister don't kill each other. XD

It would have been the same deal even now that we're here at my dad's resort (it's not really his, he just runs the place), only with swimming, but I kind of... incapacitated myself by accidentally tripping on our rusty old fence and cutting my toe deeply enough that I had to be taken to the ER for it.

There'd been live updates with photographic evidence of the injury on my Twitter (look for @ravynash if we aren't following each other already.) Basically, I had to get three stitches and anti-tetanus shots while my adorable sassy doctor flirted with the cute nurse (according to my mum at least; he wasn't really my type) and told me what a brave girl I was being, he's sorry if the anesthetic shot hurt like a bitch (it was only second to the pain I had to endure while they SCRAPED my wound clean), and not to worry because I'll surely feel the pain again once the anesthesia wears out.

So now I get to be a princess for two days until I have to get back to the city and work on Tuesday. I'm only disappointed I won't be able to take my usual laps in the pool and go biking in the woods like I normally do when we're here, but at least I have time to work on my fan projects? If the pain killers don't knock me out for most of our stay. (I don't really need them, though. They didn't use to call me "Robo Gin" during my football varsity days for nothing.)

Every time I have to go somewhere after work that isn't simply dinner or a movie with a few close friends, I get this irrational feeling of dread where I have bit of trouble breathing and can't concentrate very well on anything else until I'm already on my way to the event/place. Heh, remnants of GAD, gtfo plzkthxbai.

That being said, Reis-twinneh and the other ladies of SPIDERSILK PRODUCTIONS are launching their new art exhibit ACID ASYLUM in Makati today, and another good friend from high school Sarah Joy (link goes to her Tumblr; go listen to her awesome singing!) will be performing at the event as well, so that's going be cool. Reis has already had some of her paintings reserved by a collector, which is thrilling, and I'm super super proud of and inspired by her for working really hard and going after what she wants. ♥

Anyway, since we're already talking about art, here are a couple of my comparatively less-than-impressive attempts at it (shh, but I'm still quite happy with them ok) lately:

(Basically, I look at Colin and I see S L E A Z E and immediately want to run far far away while punching things. Issues, issues, personal issues.)

I am, however, totally with lolafeist in wanting a Merlin jazz AU with sex and the slinky-like dancing and all that, well, all that jazz. Preferably with pompous aristocrat Arthur, and Merlin as Jack Dawson. Y/Y/MFY?

All the bosses are out of the office today, so I'm spending half my time re-layouting campaign designs for other materials and the other half trying to plot out what I'll be doing for my hs_merlin project. AH LAHV HIGH SCHOOL BOYS. Um. Yeah.

The other night I watched Parked. I broke. But it was really beautiful! But thinking about particular scenes still does terrible things to my feelings. ;_;

Have you guys read A Dabba Doo Time (You’ll Have A Gay Old Time) on merlin_games? Voting for it ended yesterday, I think, but it isn't too late to enjoy it in its pure ingenuity and cracktastic glory. Check out lil_lollypop36's art for it, too! :D

Ah, but I should finish my piece for drawmelot's Celtic Project soon. Going on vacation with my family and relatives from my mum's side this weekend, so I'll probably be spending most of it in the cabin doing just this. Socializing? What socializing? I'll do that when there's food.
